Three things we hold to. A patch test is done at least 48 hours before any lash or brow tint or lash extension treatment, including for returning clients whose test has expired — reactions can be severe and previous use is no protection. Tools are sterilised between clients and single-use items are never reused. And treatments here are cosmetic: we make no claim to treat acne, rosacea, eczema or any medical condition, and we will point you to a pharmacist or GP instead.
Yes. Sensitisation can develop after years of uneventful use, which is exactly why the test is repeated. If your last test is out of date we will decline the treatment, and we will not be talked out of it.
Only if you already have a valid patch test. If not, come in for the test today and we will book the treatment for 48 hours later — that gap is the whole point.
Removal does, not the gel. Peeling or filing it off takes nail plate with it. Soaking off properly takes longer and leaves the nail intact, which is why we insist on doing it.
Usually not on that area — retinoids and acids make skin lift during waxing, which means removing skin rather than hair. Tell us what you use and we will either wait or thread instead.
No. A facial is cosmetic and cannot treat acne, rosacea or eczema. We will say so rather than selling you a course, and point you to a pharmacist or GP who can actually help.
Yes, between every client, and single-use items are disposed of after one use. It is worth asking this anywhere you go.
